# Quickstart

> Go from zero to analyzed focus group results in five steps.

This walks you through the full Humanize workflow. By the end, you'll have a completed study with insights and video clips.

  <Step title="Create your study">
    Log in to [Humanize](https://go.humanize.app) and click **New Study**. Two options:

    * **AI Study Builder** — describe your research goals and Humanize generates a discussion guide, screener, and settings.
    * **Manual editor** — build everything yourself with the form-based editor.

    Either way, you end up with a discussion guide (topics the AI moderator will cover), a screener (to filter participants), and interview settings (duration, group size, etc.).

  <Step title="Recruit participants">
    Two paths:

    * **Our panels** — general population participants are available directly in Humanize. For professional or B2B recruitment, [contact our team](mailto:support@humanize.app).
    * **Bring your own** — share a direct link with your participant list. They'll go through the screener and video check on their own.

    Need a specific mix — say, half iPhone users and half Android? Set up [segments with quotas](/study/segments-and-quotas) and recruitment fills each one.

    Once participants qualify, they're scheduled into sessions automatically.

  <Step title="Sessions run on their own">
    The AI moderator welcomes participants, walks them through your discussion topics, and wraps up. You don't need to be there.

    Sessions are recorded and transcribed in real time. The Director Agent monitors quality behind the scenes and adjusts the flow if needed.

  <Step title="Analyze results">
    After sessions finish, hit **Run Analysis** from your study dashboard. Humanize processes the transcripts, finds patterns, and generates your results. Usually takes a few minutes.

  <Step title="Explore your findings">
    Your results include:

    * **Summary** — the report: what you learned, what it means, and what to do next
    * **Deep Dive** — moment-by-moment breakdown of how each topic played out
    * **Themes** — patterns with supporting quotes
    * **Emotion analysis** — what participants felt, read from their words, voice, and face
    * **Supercuts** — auto-edited highlight reels you can share with stakeholders
    * **Explore** — chat interface to ask questions about your data

    When you're ready to share, send a link to the live report, export it as a PDF, or generate a slide deck.
